THE NEW ADVENTURES OF COMMANDER COW (PAPERBACK)

At the beginning of the story, Chuck is simply another cow waiting in a place where nothing good usually happens. While there he meets a young calf named Veal who is frightened, confused, and desperately looking for his mother. Neither of them expects their situation to change. Then everything changes.

An explosion inside the facility throws the entire place into chaos. Animals scatter, fences break, and Chuck sees a chance to run. Instead of escaping alone, he refuses to leave the young calf behind. Together they escape the facility and begin a journey that quickly becomes far more complicated than either of them imagined.

Sheriff Floyd soon decides he wants the runaway cows back, mostly because there is a bounty involved. Unfortunately for him, his attempts to capture them rarely go according to plan.

As the group travels farther from danger, they begin meeting new allies and stumbling into situations that are equal parts strange and hilarious.

What begins as a desperate escape slowly becomes the beginning of something bigger.
